This week we have Ana Taney from Mommy’s Bundle!
I will let Ana introduce herself and her blog:
I am a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom to two little boys: a rambunctious toddler and baby. At MommysBundle.com I share my parenting insight for new moms seeking support for pregnancy prep and baby care to managing life with a rambunctious toddler. I often share my must-have parenting tips, favorite kid activities and products to help make life easier.
Be sure to go check Ana out at these sites:
Now let’s get down to the questions:
- Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging because I thought it would be a natural transition from my background in online marketing. I was helping brands get found in Google, market products and build a social strategy…so figured I should probably be doing the same for myself in case I ever wanted to work from home one day!
- What keeps you blogging?
- I love that feeling you get when you publish a post and feel like you’re actually creating a resource of some sort for others, whether it’s a parenting tip, fun activity or anything useful. Makes me feel like I’ve been productive.
- What is your favorite post?
I have a couple…this post on pregnancy-proofing your beauty routine and these indoor kid activities are two of my really popular posts, but I like to look back at what I learned as a new mom early on to reflect about motherhood.
- What blogs inspire you?
I really love Kids Activities Blog. Not only is it a massive blog, but it also just inspires me to take a stab at new things. Gets my creative-juices flowing and inspires a non-crafty person to get crafty for the kids!
- What is your Holy Grail?
- Treat others as you’d like to be treated. Think that’s pretty important.
- If there is one thing that you could do what would it be?
I wish I could be really good at public speaking. Speaking to an audience of your peers is huge in the online industry, but these kinds of things often make me anxious. I’ve taking a handful of speaking courses over the years which has helped, but I think it’s always nerve-wrecking each time. In an ideal world I would be able to do it to share all the random knowledge I’ve accumulated.
- Where would your dream vacation be?
Any place warm with a beautiful beach and relaxing atmosphere. My parents are from the Caribbean so I think it’s in my nature to love warm weather!!
- What is your biggest accomplishment?
Okay, I see now we’re getting to the serious questions! 😉 Hmm, I guess my first response would be to say having my two little boys. But looking at this a bit deeper, I’d say my biggest accomplishment is being able to get through the day with two little boys. I never realized how difficult it was to be home all-day with a toddler and a baby. Both demand so much attention. My days are crazy, like any mom of little ones can attest to. I often call myself lucky when I can shower, eat a full-meal or sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time!
- What is your biggest Failure?
I’d like to think I haven’t failed too horribly in life and just learn for mistakes.
